CASE Seprod Full Scholarship Program
A Seprod full scholarship program targeting the CASE Institution was recently launched by Managing Director of Seprod Richard Pandohie on Tuesday. Mr. Pandohie announced that the Seprod Foundation will be offering one full scholarship (tuition and boarding) to one student in every year-group at CASE starting the next academic year (2017) for five years.
Pandohie was speaking at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Seprod and the College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE), held at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, which was the site for the announcement of the annual Seprod full scholarship program.
Included in the MOU is Seprod’s commitment to creating opportunities for student interns to be trained in dairy farming and other areas of interest at Seprod and its subsidiaries. This partnership forms part of Seprod’s commitment to advance economic growth and stabilize Jamaica’s agricultural sector.
The MOU is expected to run initially for a period of five years and is renewable for further five-year periods to the lucky Seprod full scholarship winners.
The Seprod Foundation is a major contributor to the local education sector and the outreach arm of one of Jamaica’s largest conglomerates, which is a part of the Musson Group of Companies.
