JMMB Scholarships Eligibility
The JMMB Scholarships are available to Jamaican national students registered as a full time undergraduate student at Mona School of Business and Management, and entering final year. This scholarship opportunity comes from the Jamaica MOney Market Brokers in Jamaica for students at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus.
The JMMB Scholarships are annual scholarship opportunity and will be awarded through the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus Office of Student Financing. In addition to academic performance, the award will be based on:
- academic performance based on results of the previous academic year University examinations (at least a GPA of 3.0);
- financial need
- involvement in co-curricular and/or community activities
Method of Selection
The successful candidate will be selected by a panel comprised of JMMB, MSBM and University of the West Indies staff.
Please Note: One award will be given for each of the following majors: Entrepreneurship, Operations Management, Tourism Management, Management Information Systems
The Office of Student Financing (OSF) exists to assist registered full-time undergraduate students of the Mona Campus. The Office administers a number of scholarships, bursaries and grants as well as other forms of financial assistance.
Many scholarships and bursaries are awarded on the basis of academic performance however, there are numerous awards that are reserved for students who are pursuing a particular field of study, demonstrate financial need, leadership qualities and are actively involved in co-curricular activities. The OSF also seeks to provide general financial assistance to students who demonstrate financial need especially as it relates to their daily maintenance cost.
