Eligibility for the Study in Turkiye Programme
To be eligible applicants must:
- Be a citizen and permanent resident of Jamaica
- Academic certificates and awards
- Be a High School graduate under the age of 21 when applying for undergraduate programs
- Be a Bachelor’s Degree holder under the age of 30 when applying for master’s programs
- Be a Master’s Degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for doctoral programs
- Must be under the age of 50 to participate in research programs

Study in Turkiye Scholarship Obligation
Successful candidates will be required to sign a Loan Agreement for Education and Training prior to leaving Jamaica giving an undertaking that upon completion of studies, they will return and work in Jamaica for a period of five (5) years.

Prepare supporting documents for application packages as required for online application and submission at the Strategic Workforce Planning and Improvement Branch:
- A valid passport
- A recent passport-sized photograph
- Highest certificates, academic transcripts and school leaving certificates
- International exam scores (GRE, GMAT etc. if required by the chosen program)
- Language test scores (if required by the chosen program)
- A research proposal and an example of your written work (for PhD applicants only)
