Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2024 Inez Brown Scholarships. The following is your guide on how to successfully apply and win this year’s awards.
This year, we are offering a minimum of one (1) STEM award of JMD$25,000 to the most qualified and needy student.
Please complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM and upload ALL required documents including your last transcript, reference letter, proof of financial need (where necessary), a resume and a recent passport size photo of yourself.
2024 Inez Brown Scholarship Deadline
All 2024 NMJ International scholarship applications are due no later than SATURDAY, AUGUST 17 WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2024 AT 11:59PM. The award(s) is valued at JMD$25,000.

About the Inez Brown Scholarships Donor
Inez Brown of Porus Manchester, Jamaica migrated to the United States in 1967. Ms. Brown was a devoted Christian who sang in her church choir, taught Sunday school, was a deaconess and a prayer warrior.
Ms. Brown worked at St. Barnabas and Rosevelt hospitals in New York before retiring to Palm Coast, Florida before passing away in 2008.
Inez Brown Scholarship Eligibility
Eligible to students interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math and Medicine) related careers. Applicants must UPLOAD a comprehensive essay of no more than 500 words along with a passport size photo.
Students will be selected for the Inez M. Brown Scholarships based on several key components, including:
• Completed application forms.
• Comprehensive essay.
• One letter of recommendation from a teacher, principal, Minister of Religion, Justice of the Peace or another leader in your community.
• Transcript and a completed resume
Application Criteria for the 2024 Scholarship Award
Awards will be based on academic performance in end of term exams and/or through verifiable financial need. A panel consisting of the donor will select short-listed candidates. Evidence showing recent volunteer service will be a plus.

Use of the scholarship money from the 2024 Inez Brown Scholarships must ONLY be used to cover the cost of tuition and other educational expenses.
