The CB Facey Foundation History
The CB Facey Foundation is a major education supporter in Jamaica theough the CB Facey Masters scholarships. The Cecil Boswell Facey Foundation specializing in the Arts and Architecture industry. The CB Facey Foundation is not well known but they have being contributing to education and other interest for the past 32 years. Part of our objective here at ScholarshipJamaica.com is to bring new scholarship sources to you and this local Foundation is just another masters scholarship source for you.
The Cecil Boswell Facey Foundation has since 1984 represented a unique fusion of a family and corporate social responsibility by the Facey family and the Pan-Jamaican Investment Trust Limited (Pan-Jam) respectively.
Pan-Jam’s former chairman, the late Honourable Maurice Facey created the Foundation in memory of his father Cecil Boswell Facey, a cornerstone of the Group of Companies.
In 1984, the CB Facey Foundation was launched to support early childhood education starting with Lalyce Grey Basic School, Orange Hall and Union Basic schools and primary schools in the Orange Hall and Walkerswood area of St. Ann, and Boys Town in Kingston. The Foundation supports local initiatives grounded in Education, the Arts and the Environment.
The Foundation’s Mission
The Foundation is on a mission to improve access and quality within the education sector and to ensure the preservation of our environmental and cultural treasures.
The CB Facey Foundation offers annual scholarships to cover the full cost of tuition for applicants. Each year the CB Facey Foundation offers scholarships to students currently enrolled in their second-year Master’s degree at the Caribbean School of Architecture at the University of Technology, Jamaica and Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts fine arts major.
A growing total number of six scholarships are awarded annually to these universities and specialty. The annual scholarship and grant program will be opened in January of each year.

Please note that the C.B. Facey Foundation only grants scholarships to the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts and the UTECH Caribbean School of Architecture. Interested applicants MUST apply for these scholarships through the bursaries of the respective schools.
