Applications are invited for the Commonwealth Scholarships tenable at the Universities in New Zealand for a period of two (2) years (Masters) or three (3) years (PhD) courses. Applications are accepted by the Ministry of Finance Jamaica. Deadline Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

Commonwealth Scholarship
Applications are invited for the Commonwealth Scholarships tenable at the Universities in New Zealand for a period of two (2) years (Masters) or three (3) years (PhD) courses. Applications are accepted by the Ministry of Finance Jamaica.

Candidates should:

Applicants of the 2020 Commonwealth Scholarships tenable in New Zealand through the Ministry of Finance:

  • Be a citizen and permanent resident of Jamaica and employed in Jamaica for at least two (2) years prior to application
  • Be applying to commence a new qualification and not be seeking funding for one already commenced at the PhD or Master’s Level
  • Submit (3) three references (1 professional, 2 academic) on the official letterhead along with three (3) copies of the application form
  • Submit Original Transcript
  • Submit certified copy of: University/College Certificates, Birth Certificate, Bio Page of Passport
  • Submit current Curriculum Vitae
  • Submit Offer Letter from Institution in New Zealand
  • One (1) Passport size photograph

Candidates are encouraged to secure admission to their preferred New Zealand education institution in advance scholarship application. Evidence of admission should be attached to the application form
