Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2024 Edna Green Endowment Scholarship (EGES). This year, we are offering a minimum of fifteen (15) scholarship awards to the most qualified and needy students.
Please complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM and upload ALL required documents including your last transcript, reference letter, proof of financial need (where necessary), a resume and a recent passport size photo of yourself.
Scholarship Deadline
All 2024 NMJ International scholarships are due no later than SATURDAY, AUGUST 17 WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2024 AT 11:59PM.

About the Edna Green Endowment Scholarship Donor
Lisa Atkins is a Jamaican born, grand daughter of Edna Green who migrated to the United States of America and now works as a Senior Counsel at Bristol Myers Squib in New York City, which is one of the world’s largest Pharmaceutical company.
She has a passion to give back through education and as such is a co-founder with her husband Chris A. Grant of Next Move Jamaica International, Inc., which is a registered not-for-profit in New York State
Scholarship Eligibility
Jamaican Nationals enrolled in ALL local high school, community college or university. Applicants must UPLOAD a comprehensive essay of no more than 500 words along with a passport size photo. Students will be selected for the Edna Green Endowment scholarship based on several key components, including:
• Completed application form.
• Comprehensive essay.
• One letter of recommendation from a teacher, principal, Minister of Religion, Justice of the Peace or another leader in your community.
• Transcript and a completed resume
Edna Green Endowment Scholarships Criteria
The Edna Green Endowment scholarship Awards will be based on academic performance in end of term exams and/or through verifiable financial need. A panel consisting of the donor will select short-listed candidates. Evidence showing recent volunteer service will be a plus.
