YALLAHS, St. Thomas – Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2022 Next Move Jamaica International (NMJI) General Scholarships. The following is your guide on how to successfully apply and win this year’s awards.
This year, we are offering a minimum of one (1) scholarship award of J$30,000 to the most qualified and needy students.
Please complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM and upload ALL required documents including your last transcript, reference letter, proof of financial need (where necessary), a resume and a recent passport size photo of yourself.
2022 Next Move Jamaica International (NMJI) General Deadline
All 2022 NMJ International scholarships are due no later than SUNDAY, JULY 31, 2022 AT 11:59PM.

About the NMJI General Scholarships Donor
The 2022 Next Move Jamaica International – NMJI General Scholarships program is funded by friends-of-Jamaica through 2020 Next Move Jamaica International, Inc. based in New York. These friends are from the USA, Haiti, Guyana and other Caribbean Islands.
Scholarship Eligibility
This scholarship is available to Jamaican Nationals enrolled in any local high school or Community College in Jamaica. Applicants must UPLOAD a comprehensive essay of no more than 300 words to this form.
Students will be selected for the 2022 Next Move Jamaica International (NMJI) General Scholarships based on several key components:
• Completed application forms with the following documentations:
• Comprehensive essay responses to the questions below indicating the essay topics.
• One (1) letter of recommendation from a teacher, principal or a pastor.
• Transcript and a completed resume
Application Criteria for the 2022 NMJI General Scholarships
The 2022 Next Move Jamaica International (NMJI) General Scholarships awards will be based on academic performance in end of term exams and/or through verifiable financial need. A panel consisting of the donor will select short-listed candidates. Evidence showing recent volunteer service will be a plus.

The use of the scholarship money from the 2022 Next Move Jamaica International (NMJI) General Scholarships must ONLY be used to cover the cost of tuition and other educational/school expenses.
