
Lets go study in Morocco!! The Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), in partnership with Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI), is offering two (2) full Scholarships of Excellence to Jamaican students for the 2025/2026 academic year at Al Akhawayn University. The information below sets out the terms and conditions for implementing this quota:
General information and courses of study in Morocco Scholarships
The Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), in partnership with Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane is offering two (02) full Scholarships of Excellence in both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs in the English language, based on the U.S. Higher Education system. The programs offered are aimed at training future senior officials.
Scholarship deadline is Monday, June 30, 2025
The applicants must be excellent high school or bachelor’s students applying for one of the
following courses of study:
Undergraduate studies (Bachelor degree):
- Bachelor of Arts in International Studies
- Bachelor of Science in Renewable Energy and Systems Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Robotization
Postgraduate studies (Master degree):
- Master of Arts in International Studies & Diplomacy
- Master of Business Administration
- Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Management

Scholarship coverage
The study in Morocco Scholarship of Excellence is a joint initiative between AMCI and AUI, which provides the
following services to the beneficiary students:
- 1 return flight ticket (for the beginning and the end of the program);
- Pick-up at the airport and transfer to AUI;
- Accommodation and meals at the university restaurant situated on campus at AUI;
- University library free access;
- Medical insurance and repatriation if needed;
- A monthly grant;
Covered by AUI: Registration and tuition fees.
Requirements
Undergraduate studies (Bachelor degree):
- Be 20 years old max by September 1st, 2025.
- Hold a CAPE or an Associate Degree obtained in 2025, or 2024, with a minimum average
of 95/100.
Postgraduate studies (Master degree):
- Be 25 years old max by September 1st, 2024.
- Hold a Bachelor degree, with a minimum average of 95/100.
Application process to Study in Morocco
The application request must include the following documents:
For undergraduate studies applicants (Bachelor degree):
- Cover letter mentioning the requested studies
- Certified copy of the CSEC
- Certified copy of CAPE or Associate Degree diploma
- Transcripts of the 1st and 2nd year CAPE or Associate Degree
- Birth certificate
- Copy of the passport, or valid ID
- Recent police record
Medical certificate issued by the public health department testifying that the applicant’s physical and mental fitness and certifying that he or she is vaccinated and is not suffering from any contagious or acute disease, or is a carrier of a pandemic notably tuberculosis.
Applicants may be required to undergo a counter-check upon arrival in Morocco.
Two (2) recent passport photographs in colour (with the full name and nationality of the candidate written on the back). For postgraduate studies applicants (Master degree): The same documents as for undergraduate studies applicants listed above:
- Certified copy of the Bachelor degree, or equivalent
- Transcripts of the Bachelor degree studies
Knowing that the Fall semester will start on September 2nd, 2025, the applications files of the best candidates must be officially submitted by the competent authorities in their respective countries through diplomatic channels before July 5th, 2025.
Important note
This program of Scholarship of Excellence requires an unwavering commitment from the recipient students, as well as strict adherence to AUI’s internal regulations. The beneficiaries of this program are called upon to make a greater effort to complete their academic studies within the normal timeframe and with the expected merit.
In accordance with AUI’s study regulations, renewal of the study in Morocco Scholarship of Excellence is conditional on good academic results at the end of each semester, and on a demonstration of merit and academic achievement. Failing this, the students will be excluded from the Scholarship of Excellence program and will have to return to their country of origin.
