PDr Nigel Clarke, says payments that are outstanding under two components of the Government’s $10-billion COVID-19 Allocation of Resources for Employees (CARE) Programme, are expected to be made during December.
The JCPD is encouraging persons registered with the organisation who have not yet benefited under the COVID-19 Allocation of Resources for Employees (CARE) Programme to apply for financial support.
J$2.65 Billion in Compassionate Grant has been paid out to about 265,000 CARE Programme applicant. Prospective applicants and applicants are reminded that they can also send an email to [email protected].
The Tourism Grant under the CARE programme through the Ministry of Tourism is open to applications from registered businesses in the Jamaica Tourism Sector.
Over 333,000 Jamaicans have so far successfully applied to the COVID-19 Allocation of Resources for Employees (CARE Programme), the Government’s temporary cash transfer initiative designed to cushion the economic impact of the pandemic.
The Government of Jamaica’s $10 billion COVID Allocation of Resources for Employees (CARE) Programme is slated for roll-out on Thursday (April 9), when target beneficiaries are invited to commence submitting applications.
