Dear Mr. Grant,
It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I write this letter, to thank you for giving me the opportunity to better prepare for my post graduate educational journey. I have always been keen to stay up to date with the many tips and general advice, you give young Jamaican students on your website, in newsletters and on social media – who like myself, see the value in attaining scholarships to advance their studies.
Like Nelson Mandela, I believe that ‘Education is the most powerful weapon that can be used to change the world.’ Indeed you are a world changer, as you have chosen to share tertiary opportunities largely, with Jamaican students.
The Skolastik Oasis Caribbean Scholarship Incubator Programme (SOCSIP), has now put me in a significantly better position to complete my scholarship applications. This will increase the likelihood of me receiving a scholarship to further my educational pursuits. Additionally, I not only am able to prepare successful scholarship applications, but am equipped with lifelong skills, which I will pass on to my peers and others.
The SOCSIP has therefore met my expectations by providing the perfect platform to catapult me into achieving academic success. For this reason, I will forever be grateful and will encourage persons to stay connected to Scholarship Jamaica – by following you on Social Media, so that they can benefit from great opportunities, in the same way I did.
In closing, I once again want to express my gratitude to Scholarship Jamaica for selecting me as the 1st Scholarship Recipient for the 2018 SOCSIP, and I will endeavour to change the world as you have done through me.
Thank You !
Tahir T.
