Thank you for your interest in applying for the 2024 Una Robinson Scholarship. The following is your guide on how to successfully apply and win this year’s awards.
This year, we are offering a minimum of one (1) scholarship award of US$250 to the most qualified and needy students enrolled in a Real Estate Certificate programme.
Please complete the ONLINE APPLICATION FORM and upload ALL required documents including your last transcript, reference letter, proof of financial need (where necessary), a resume and a recent passport size photo of yourself.
2024 Una Robinson Scholarship Deadline
All 2024 NMJ International scholarships are due no later than SATURDAY, AUGUST 17 WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 21, 2024 AT 11:59PM. The award(s) is valued at US$250. You can apply for other Next Move Jamaica International Scholarships here!
About the Una Robinson Scholarship Donor
Una A. Robinson of Albion Mountain, St. Mary, Jamaica migrated to Wolverhampton, England, United Kingdom and then Galt, Ontario, Canada before moving to the United States in search of greater opportunities.
She was keenly interested in real estate and amassed property in England, Canada and the United States. Once retired she split her time between New York and Florida before passing away in 2015.
Una Robinson Scholarship Eligibility
Eligible to students interested in a Real Estate degree or certificate program related fields. Applicants must UPLOAD a comprehensive essay of no more than 500 words along with a passport size photo.
Students will be selected for the Una A. Robinson Scholarship based on several key components, including:
• Completed application forms.
• Comprehensive essay.
• One (1) letter of recommendation from a teacher, principal, Minister of Religion, Justice of the Peace or another leader in your community.
• Transcript and a completed resume
Application Criteria for the 2024 Scholarship Award
The Una Robinson Scholarship award will be based on academic performance in end of term exams and/or through verifiable financial need. A panel consisting of the donor will select short-listed candidates. Evidence showing recent volunteer service will be a plus.
SCHOLARSHIP DISCLAIMER:
Use of the scholarship money from the 2024 Una A. Robinson Scholarship must ONLY be used to cover the cost of tuition and other educational expenses.
