Carreras Limited is pleased to announce its offer of the Carreras Teachers scholarships for the 2021 academic year. Applications are invited for the annual Teachers Scholarship Programme.
The 2022 Carreras Teachers Scholarships are offered to students of local teachers colleges valued at One hundred thousand( J$100,000) dollars per student. The following are the qualified local teachers colleges: St Josephs Teachers College, Shortwood Teachers College, Sam Sharpe Teachers College, Mico University College, and Churches Teachers College.

How to Apply for the Carreras Teachers Scholarships
ScholarshipJamaica.com is pleased to announce the launch of the 2022 Carreras Teachers Scholarships programme. Carreras Limited recognizes that there exist a lot of unharnessed talents in Jamaica and sees itself as an integral player in the fight for Jamaicans to be given the opportunity to realize their maximum potential.
In so doing they have sought to increase their reach to youths that have demonstrated strong academic prowess and are in need of financial assistance.
One hundred thousand Jamaican Dollars (J$100,000) scholarships per students are now available from the Carreras Teachers Scholarships programme for undergraduate studies all MAJOR Teachers Colleges.
Applications for the 2022 Carreras Teachers Scholarships Closes Friday, July 15, 2022.
Application Criteria
- Be a Jamaican citizen (required to provide a copy of ID)
- Be an enrolled student at ANY of the institutions noted
- Produce completed application form and two references (academic and character )
- Official transcript
- BE IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
- Have achieved at least a ‘B’ average (GPA of 3.0) in the previous academic year.
- MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO APPLY
