JMMB Scholarships

The JMMB Scholarships are annual  scholarship awards open to Caribbean National students of the University of the West Indies , Mona Campus.  The JMMB Foundation Scholarships covers J$270,000 per annum of the scholarship awardee’s tuition and last for one year of the course. Ten (10) awards are available with the deadline for the Scholarship for Nursing  will be May 31, 2022.

JMMB Scholarships Eligibility

The JMMB Scholarships awards are available to Caribbean Nationals who are registered, full time undergraduate students at Mona School of Business and Management and are entering final year.

Criteria

The JMMB Foundation Scholarship will be based on academic performance based on the results of the previous year University examinations (minimum GPA of 3.0) with verifiable financial need. The successful applicant must have active participation in co-curricular activities and demonstrable leadership qualities, volunteerism and social involvement.

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel comprised of JMMB, MSBM and UWI staff. 

Special Requirements

One award will be given for each of the following majors: Accounting, Banking & Finance, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Management Studies, Marketing, Operations Management, Tourism Management, Management Information Systems

Application forms for the JMMB Scholarships are available only on the web. Click to download the application form and instruction sheet.

The application form must be completed regardless of the type of assistance in which the student is interested. Applications will be considered by the Financial Assistance Committee who will, based on the information provided by the student, determine which type of assistance will be offered.

The Office of Student Financing (OSF) exists to assist registered undergraduate students of the Mona Campus.  Types of Financial assistance includes scholarships, bursaries, grants and meal subsidies.
