Kyorel Procurement Solutions Scholarship Eligibility
The Kyorel Procurement Solutions Scholarship is available to Jamaican Nationals who are pursuing an undegraduate degree in the faculty of Social Sciences pursuing a degree in Social Work, Psychology or Management Studies and for students from the parishes of outside of Kingston & St. Andrew.
Criteria
The Kyorel Procurement Solutions Scholarship is an annual scholarship opportunity and will be awarded through the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus Office of Student Financing. The shortlisted special needs applicants will be based on several factors including and not limited to students with:
- Outstanding academic record
- Demonstrable financial need
- Demonstrable community involvement and leadership qualities
Method of Selection
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the Manager of the Office of Student Financing and referred to Kyorel Procurement Solutions LLC for approval. PART TIME STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE. Preference will be given to students with previous work experience in purchasing, warehouse or logistics.
The Office of Student Financing (OSF) exists to assist registered full-time undergraduate students of the Mona Campus. The Office administers a number of scholarships, bursaries and grants as well as other forms of financial assistance.
Many scholarships and bursaries are awarded on the basis of academic performance however, there are numerous awards that are reserved for students who are pursuing a particular field of study, demonstrate financial need, leadership qualities and are actively involved in co-curricular activities. The OSF also seeks to provide general financial assistance to students who demonstrate financial need especially as it relates to their daily maintenance cost.
